How sweet the aging Edda was in the world of their own dreams! Neither the biting remarks of the innocent maidservant, nor the groans of the dying “father” could bring her back to reality. Indulging in memories of past love affairs (and in the lists of Edda's lovers there were ministers, diplomats, generals, princes, and even one Indian Maharajah), she continued to wait for someone to brighten her existence. Loneliness and death were the scariest for Edda. And one evening the doorbell rang at her door ...
If a lonely woman is waiting for a man, it comes, sooner or later. The most important and most fatal in her life. Unfortunately, he turns to be not a man she was waiting for...
The action takes place in the 60s of the 20th century.
