That play is the story of love, sweet, touching, and a bit sad. A casual meet in the post-war Moscow of a former soldier who became a wine production student and a Polish girl who studies at the academy of music to become a singer, grew in a strong, warm, and mutual feeling. A happy end was so close but the USSR government issued the Order forbidding marriages with foreigners...

Victor and Helena will meet only many years after... Each having own life and family. Memories of the first meeting are still fresh and alive, but stupid conventions, through which it is impossible to cross due to political, cultural and ethnic circumstances, always prevent the heroes from rising above the essence of being, throwing everything, connecting their destinies and becoming happy.
