What happens to a person when, after a long struggle, a moment of silence finally arrives?
When the revolution you fought for begins to control you, and the ideals of the past give birth to the monsters of the present?
The events unfold in a closed sanatorium where former revolutionaries, ordinary citizens, and undercover secret police agents coexist. A space meant for healing turns into a place of control and isolation. Barbed wire, strict routines, and constant surveillance transform the sanatorium into a model of the state – cold and merciless.
“Sanatorium Zone” is not only a story about the 1920s. It is a performance about a human being inside the system, about the loss of ideals, and about the moment when the madness of the world begins to feel like the norm.
